The video installation HYPERONS illuminates the façade of the Kagoo and spans both sides of the corner building. Static image elements combine with organic and moving objects to create a texture that covers the architecture and changes its perception. The projected images move across the three-dimensional geometry of the building, flowing over edges and recesses and lingering in places where they interact precisely with the structure of the façade.

The main character is dressed in black with a box-shaped headgear reminiscent of oversized VR glasses. The figure makes its way into the visual world by breaking through the membrane of a white surface and acts together with an inflatable shark in a fictitious cosmos dominated by rotating spheres. In a collage-like montage, these protagonists appear as representatives of animal and human beings while their backdrops are constantly shifting., The shark in its appearance as a dummy serves in this dystopian episode as an imaginary substitute for its living conspecifics. Its body begins to move in bizarre ways as it is pumped up until the air is let out at the end.
Things emerge and sink again, the aesthetics of fluidity and the dissolution of solid matter become visual components of the image compositions.

The dynamics of liquids is a central theme of HYPERONS. Water as an elementary component of our world has become a decisive factor for global living conditions with the current climatic development. Rising sea levels, falling water levels in lakes and rivers, flooding caused by heavy rainfall and drought are creating threatening scenarios. The HYPERONS video installation attempts to draw attention to these phenomena with this artistic intervention in a metaphorical way.
