„Josephin Böttger experiments with the geometry of the surfaces of the building designed by Oswald Mathias Unger as the new extension to the Hamburger Kunsthalle that opened in 1997. The interior and exterior structures of the sections of the modern and historical buildings standing dialectically face to face are explored with regard to their architecture and our perception of space. Details, interior views and staged sequences alternate in a rhythmically parsed progression of images and interweave to form a loose narrative.“ (Excerpt of a text by Ifee Tack, 2022)
