PLASMATRON

Felix Kubin & Josephin Böttger

An invitation by Felix Kubin within his sound installation at Großer Wasserspeicher | Berlin, July 2025

From July 11 to 13, 2025, the large and small water reservoirs in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district were transformed into spaces for experiencing experimental electronic music. The occasion was the 30th anniversary of the Villa Aurora artist residency in Los Angeles and the commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the death of Dieter Moebius, a pioneer of electronic sound art.

„During the additional live concerts, Josephin Böttger moves in a choreographed sequence through the spiral-shaped corridors of the building with a mobile projection. The light formations in her video sequences interact with the architectural features and correspond with the sound space created live by Felix Kubin.“
